Weird World
The moon looks upon,
A sky of muted purple,
Singing the clouds
A lullaby of deep grey,
The highways roar indignantly
Forever and Eternal
Under the Equally eternal
Desire of the human creature
The trees fade to black
As the lights flicker to life
The rooftops smile in their
Usual red, grey and green
Their panels of solar harvest
Sleep under a blanket of dust
Somewhere, sometimes,
Someone insignificant
Sits on those rooftops
Strange to think?
