Eclipse
Once upon an eclipse
When the sky ran red
The sun and the moon
Spoke once more
Moon:
I see the stars in their silence
How do you bear their frigid sororal gaze?
Sun:
I simply do not, for I am blided by my light
While I reign over this system
Sun:
And you small rock, why look at the stars?
Are you not the ruler of your oceans?
Moon:
I am and yet I still look outward,
For movment of waters does not enrich the heart
Moon:
Tell me solar sister, do you not grow lonely?
For we can only speak on such an occasion?
Sun:
I dare not, for my brightness blinds me
From caring about such frivolousness
Sun:
Tell me, from mighty Jupiter, little Ceres,
How does your grandiose dare manifest?
Moon:
I'm but a mere pebble pleading for attention
From the great Solaris
Moon:
And dare I ask what enriches your heart
And fills your soul to the bursting?
Sun:
Forces, those that bind all you rocks and clouds to me
And those that bind my dancing atoms to myself
And so they parted,
Equally confused,
Equally important
Equally small
